Lincoln County has adopted the latest version of the International Building Code as County Code for regulation of the erection, construction, alteration, moving, removal, conversion, use and maintenance of all buildings, and/or structures within the unincorporated areas of Lincoln County. Please contact the building department regarding the “code” and how it affects your situation. Copies of the International Building Code in all versions are on file at the building department.

Licensed Contractors: For the highest quality, protection, safety, and satisfaction, the Lincoln County Building and Safety Department STRONGLY RECOMMENDS the hiring of LICENSED CONTRACTORS. For more information refer to NRS 624.

Service Utility "will serve" Form - For commercial buildings and residential dwellings, the Lincoln County Building and Safety epartment requires signed approval from entities providing service utilities before building permits are issued.
