Election Information
If you have not registered to vote in Lincoln County, Nevada you may do so any weekday until the Close of Registration dates for each election. To vote in any of these elections you must be registered to vote.
Electors may register for an ensuing election by appearing before the County Clerk at her office or by appearing before a deputy registrar in the manner provided by law. Forms for mail-in registration can be obtained by calling the Lincoln county clerk's Office at (775)962-5390.
Pursuant to NRS 293.517, if you have changed your name since the last General Election, you must re-register to vote.
Pursuant to NRS 293.525, if you have moved since the last General Election, you must notify the County Clerk's Office in writing.

June 8, 2010 is the Primary Election.
For those who live in southern Lincoln County (Alamo, Hiko, Rachel) during Close of Registration they may do so at the Alamo Annex as opposed to driving all of the way to Pioche to register. In order to submit a request for an Absentee Ballot, the applicant will need to send the County Clerk something in writing (can be typed orhandwritten) that includes the election that they are requesting the ballot for, the address that they want it sent to, the date of the request and their original signature (doesn’t have to be notarized).
