1*Call to order; Roll call; Invocation; Pledge of Allegiance.

2 Public Comment. (All public comment will be limited to five minutes per individual).

CONSENT AGENDA

3* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny minutes of the February 6, 2012 Regular Meeting.

4* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny letter of support for Mary Jean Lucht, Lincoln County Public Health Nurse.

5* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny the appointment of Dan Simkins to the Lincoln County Airport Authority Board.

6* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny Tax Strike for Stanlee Jones, 3-094-12, House Functional Obsolescence, $9,616 Assessed.

7* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny Tax Strike for Eagle Valley Land Holdings, LLC., APN: 006-231-11, 999 assessed – Tax Dollar Amt. $29.96, no concrete under garage.

8* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny Original and Renewal Business Licenses with staff recommendations (an itemized list of business licenses is available for public review in the Building Department prior to the meeting).

9* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny vouchers (an itemized list of bills is available for public review at the county Auditor’s office prior to the meeting). A report of Cash Balances with any concerns will be received from the County Auditor.

15* For Possible Action: Request from Freedom 4 Wheelers in helping to pay for insurance for the Mud Race on May 5, 2012.

16* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny Grant application by the State Emergency Response Committee (SERC), not to exceed $30,000 for the training and planning for hazardous materials.

18* For Possible Action: Public Hearing on an Ordinance entitled “Penalty for Building Department Permits that are Requested after the Activity has Commenced.”

19 Portfolio review by BNY Mellon Wealth Management, the Investment Company that the County uses.

20* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action concerning Presentation by Pioche Town Board regarding fuel reduction in the town of Pioche.

21* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action request from Pioche Town Board to advertise and hire a part time employee not to exceed 1039 hours for fuel reduction/town maintenance.

22* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action request from Pioche Public Utilities to advertise and hire summer labors/lifeguards and pool manager.

23* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action regarding the issuance of Notice of Award on the Pioche Park Phase II project. Bid opening held February 16, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.

24* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action regarding signing of Change Order #1 to Sunrise Engineering’s contract on the Pioche Park Phase II project to include Construction Administration services.

24* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action regarding signing Change Order #6 for Hardy Construction on the Meadow Valley Wash Linear Park project in the amount of $58,162.99.

26* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action regarding signing of letter of support for Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) grant application.

27* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action regarding signing VOCA grant application.

28* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny the Southern Nevada Desert Racers’ motorcycle race in the Mail Summit area to be held April 14, 2012. This race was approved at the 2/6/12 commission meeting with a race date of April 7. This item is to approve the change of date.

29* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny the Silver State Trailblazers motorcycle race to be held May 19, 2012 in the area between Panaca and Pioche.

30* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny contract with Pearson Brothers construction in the amount of $24,800.00 for fence ing the Beaver Dam and Mount Wilson Transfer Station drop box facilities; this includes labor and materials for site leveling, dirt work, gravel and chain link fence.

31 Commissioners Reports: Update will include, meetings attended, actions taken, contacts made, projects status, and future needs arising since last meeting.
