All other items do not have a specific time and will be heard at the discretion of the Board. If you wish to speak on any item that is on the agenda, you must sign in with the Clerk at the meeting.
1* Call to order; Roll call; Invocation; Pledge of Allegiance.
2 Public Comment. (All public comment will be limited to five minutes per individual).
3* For Possible Action: Approve minutes of the August 6 2012 and August 20, 2012 Regular Meetings.
4* For Possible Action: Tax Strike 2012-2013, APN 001-034-03, $11,442.00 assessed, and tax refund 2011-2012 $364.40; 2010-2011 $417.70 for a total refund of $782.10. Assessors records reflect converted modular home. The home has not been converted to Real Property.
5* For Possible Action: Approval to modify Dawne Combs from full-time status to part- time/full-time; effective September 1, 2012.
6* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny Original and Renewed Business Licenses according to staff recommendations (an itemized list of business licenses is available for public review in the Building Department prior to the meeting).
7* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny vouchers (an itemized list of bills is available for public review at the county Auditor’s office prior to the meeting). A report of Cash Balances with any concerns will be received from the County Auditor.
8 Officer/Department Head Reports: Update will include meetings attended, actions taken, contacts made, project status, and future needs arising since last meeting.
9 Board of Highway Commissioners: Under Separate Agenda.
10 Lincoln County Fire District: Under Separate Agenda.
11* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action regarding “Thanks for Giving” volunteer appreciation. The Treasurers Office would like to assist the Commissioners on recognizing volunteers in our community.
12* For Possible Action: Public Hearing for a Resolution to authorize a medium term obligation for the purchase of 4 patrol/detention vehicles not to exceed $105,000.00 for 36 months.
13 Presentation by Mike Herder, Associate District Manager, Bureau of Land Management Ely District, on the potential for creation of Greater Sage Grouse Areas of Critical Environmental Concern (ACEC’s) in Lincoln County.
14* For Possible Action: Chuck Reifsnyder is asking for repayment of 13 years of Real Property Tax that has been assessed even though the property was never converted to Real Property.
15 Quarterly Jail Tour
16* For Possible Action: Accept resignations of CaraLee Frehner and Pete Wells from the Panaca Town Board and appointment of two new members per recommendations from the Panaca Town Board.
17* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny the Bushwackers Motorcyle Hare Scrambles Race to be held September 22, 2012 in the area north and west of Pioche and Caselton.
18* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny a Contract with Resource Concepts, Inc. to develop a Phase 2 Habitat Mitigation Plan for the Southwestern Willow Flycatcher.
19* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action transfer of older Chevrolet patrol truck from the Sheriff’s Office to the Caliente Fire Department.
20 Commissioners Reports: Update will include, meetings attended, actions taken, contacts made, project status, and future needs arising since last meeting.
