All other items do not have a specific time and will be heard at the discretion of the Board. If you wish to speak on any item that is on the agenda, you must sign in with the Clerk at the meeting.
1* Call to order; Roll call; Invocation; Pledge of Allegiance.
2 Public Comment. (All public comment will be limited to five minutes per individual).
3* For Possible Action: Approve minutes of September 4, 2012 Regular Meeting.
4.* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny the Advertising and Hiring of a site worker for the Alamo Senior Center.
5.* For Possible Action: Approve Notice of a Public Hearing set for October 1, 2012 at 10:00 am for a Resolution to Augment the Budget for fiscal year 2012-2013 Youth Activities Counsel Fund in the amount of $500.00. A donation was received making revenues in excess of those budgeted.
6.* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny Original and Renewed Business Licenses according to staff recommendations (an itemized list of business licenses is available for public review in the Building Department prior to the meeting.)
7* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny vouchers (an itemized list of bills is available for public review at the county Auditor’s office prior to the meeting). A report of Cash Balances with any concerns will be received from the County Auditor.
8 Officer/Department Head Reports: Update will include meetings attended, actions taken, contacts made, project status, and future needs arising since last meeting.
9* Brief Comment from Commissioner Phillips recognizing September 17 as Constitution Day.
10 Board of Highway Commissioners: Under Separate Agenda.
11 Lincoln County Fire District: Under Separate Agenda.

13.* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny a contract with Saueer Seating to replace the Jury Box and Gallery seating in the Courtroom. Contract not to exceed $25,000.
14* For Possible Action: Request from Frank Porter, asking that his property not be included in the tax deed sale.
15* For Possible Action: Request from Stephanie Allen for helping in making repairs to home that had flooding from highway due to the culverts not being maintained.
16* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny the Freedom Fourwheelers request to have a Mud Race on September 29, 2012.
17. Oversight program update by Vaughn Higbee, Dr. Mike Baughman and Connie Simkins.
18* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action approval for printing of Emergency Response Run Books by Nevada State Printing Office in the amount of $8,323.00.
19* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action a Letter of Support for land transfers from Bureau of Land Management managed lands to United States Fish and Wildlife Service in Pahranagat Valley. Proposed transfer at Desert Nation Wildlife Refuge (NWR) is approximately 5,949 acres and the proposed transfer at Pahranagat NWR is approximately 471 acres.
20* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action course of action for forming a Public Lands Committee and a two-year review of the Lincoln County Public Lands Policy Plan.
21* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action regarding funding source to pay Abbey, Stubbs, and Ford for consulting services related to completion of the power line extension to the Coyote Springs Communication Tower.
22* * For Possible Action: Discussion/Action regarding signing contract with Abbey, Stubbs, and Ford for consulting services related to completion of the power line extension to the Coyote Springs Communication Tower.
23* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action Loan and Designation of fund for loan to Grants in the amount of $86,494.15, for the LaCour Street Sewer Replacement, until reimbursement arrives from grant monies.
24* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action regarding the loan/grant application filed by the Lincoln County Commission on behalf of the Panaca Fire Protection District for the purchase of an Aerial Fire Truck.
25* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action regarding contract with Priority Construction for the Alamo Landing Field, Phase II project.
26. Commissioners Reports: Update will include, meetings attended, actions taken, contacts made, project status, and future needs arising since last meeting.
