All other items do not have a specific time and will be heard at the discretion of the Board. If you wish to speak on any item that is on the agenda, you must sign in with the Clerk at the meeting.
1* Call to order; Roll call; Invocation; Pledge of Allegiance.
2 Public Comment. (All public comment will be limited to five minutes per individual).
3* For Possible Action: Approve minutes of the May 20, 2013 Regular Meeting.
4* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny Original and Renewed Business Licenses according to staff recommendations (an itemized list of business licenses is available for public review in the Building Department prior to the meeting).
5* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny vouchers (an itemized list of bills is available for public review at the county Auditor’s office prior to the meeting). A report of Cash Balances with any concerns will be received from the County Auditor.
6 Officer/Department Head Reports: Update will include meetings attended, actions taken, contacts made, project status, and future needs arising since last meeting.
7* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action concerning the designation of a fund and payment of a bill in the amount of $2,510.00 for an outlet needed by the Labor Day Committee.
8 Board of Highway Commissioners: Under Separate Agenda.
9 Lincoln County Fire District: Under Separate Agenda.
10* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action Presentation and Acceptance of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2013-2014 Department of Transportation Work Program and the Statewide Transportation Improvement Process.
11* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action request from Senior Nutrition to take July 5, 2013 off as a paid holiday.
12* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny the Assessment of $31,616.00 from the Division of Child and Family Services for FY 2013.
13* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action regarding signing of the response letter to Las Vegas Paving Corporation for Phase I of the Alamo Landing Field pavement issues.
14* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action regarding signing the FY 2014 United We Stand Planning, Training, Supplies and Equipment grant application for the Lincoln County Local Emergency Planning committee for up to $30,000.00.
15* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action regarding signing the Interlocal Contract with the Department of Health and Human Services Aging and Disability Services Division.
16* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action regarding signing the Notice of Award for Pearson Brothers Construction on the Pahranagat Valley Senior Center Improvements project.
17 Proposal of a new website for Lincoln County by Joseph Lamb
18* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action hiring of a replacement Administrative person for the Cooperative Extension Office, this is a half time, no benefits position.
19* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action Renewal of one-year contract with Vanguard Pest and Weed Control, LLC, for pest control services to various County facilities.
20* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action letter to Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Ely District in support of a Direct Sale to Farmland Reserves, Inc. % Delamar Valley Cattle company for parcels southwest of Panaca located at T2S R67E, Sections 23 and 24.
21* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action letter of request for designation of certain areas for Recreation and Public Purposes within Lincoln County on BLM managed lands. Areas include: Panaca Area – adjacent to current fairgrounds; Beaver Dam Road – 1.5 miles East of US 93; Pioche Area – adjacent to existing recreational park, East of Boothill Cemetery, and west of Slaughterhouse Canyon. Total requested acreage is approximately 1,265.
22* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action letter of request for disposal of BLM managed land located within Lincoln County per Lincoln County Conservation, Recreation, Development Act.
23* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action presentations of Health Insurance proposals. Possible action may include accepting a new health care insurer for County employees and modifying the existing plans and benefits.
24* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action renovation and leasing out of offices in the Panaca Elementary Building.
25* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action concerning use of the Crown Victoria car for Commissioner Higbee.
26 Commissioners Reports: Update will include, meetings attended, actions taken, contacts made, project status, and future needs arising since last meeting.
