Note: Those items with a designated time will be heard at that time, or as soon thereafter as the Board can accommodate. All other items do not have a specific time and will be heard at the discretion of the Board. If you wish to speak on any item that is on the agenda, you must sign in with the Clerk at the meeting.
1* Call to order; Roll call; Invocation; Pledge of Allegiance.
2 Public Comment. (All public comment will be limited to five minutes per individual).
3* For Possible Action: Approve minutes of the January 21, 2014 and February 3, 2014 Regular Board meetings.
4* For Possible Action: Approve Original and Renewed Business Licenses according to staff recommendations (an itemized list of business licenses is available for public review in the Building Department prior to the meeting).
5* For Possible Action: Approve vouchers (an itemized list of bills is available for public review at the county Auditor’s office prior to the meeting). A report of Cash balances with any concerns will be received from the County Auditor.
6 Officer/Department Head Reports: Update will include meetings attended, actions taken, contacts made, project status, and future needs arising since last meeting.
7 Board of Highway Commissioners: Under Separate Agenda.
8 Lincoln County Fire District: Under Separate Agenda.
9* For Possible Action: Approve Rick Stever to attend Training for Response to Radiological Incidents in Wendover on March 1-2, 2014.
10* Panaca Fire District: Under Separate Agenda.
11* For Possible Action: Request from the Lincoln County High School CLOSE-UP group in the amount of $2,800 to help students in going to Washington D.C.
12 Presentation from Wells Fargo regarding future banking relationship with Lincoln County.
13* For Possible Action: Request from the Panaca Sesquicentennial Committee for $10,000 to update the front of the Panaca Town Hall.
14* For Possible Action: Approve fund and payment for the Annual Dam Storage Fee for the Hollinger Debris Basin in the amount of $992.50.
15* For Possible Action: Approve the Advertising in the local newspaper of the new Courthouse phone numbers.
16* For Possible Action: Request from the Freedom 4-Wheelers to use the Fair Grounds on May 24, 2014 and in August at the same time of the Lincoln County Fair.
17* For Possible Action: Request from Freedom 4-Wheelers for $5,000 for Prize money.
18* For Possible Action: Request to proceed with tax auction scheduled for April 4, 2014.
19* For Possible Action: Discussion regarding status of Bristol Mine Townsite being held in Treasurer in Trust (parcels #006-371-01, 006-371-04, 006-371-05, 006-371-06, 006-371-07, 006-371-08, 009-012-15, 009-011-82).
20* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny a special waiver and full or partial refund for County residences located closer to the City of Caliente than a County transfer station and which pay a garbage fee to the City of Caliente.
21* For Possible Action: Discussion of purchase of computer for Emergency Management Department use.
22* For Possible Action: Discussion regarding supplement to Resource Concepts Tasks on Sage Grouse and Solar resource work.
23* For Possible Action: Signing the contract and related documents for the Pioneer Park Phase II project.
24* For Possible Action: Signing the Aging and Disability Services Notification of Grant Award in the amount of $4,764.00 for the Nutrition program.
25* For Possible Action: Approval of a Medical Marijuana Ordinance.
26* For Possible Action: Addressing of 2013-2014 budget and or cash flow problems.
27 Commissioners Reports: Update will include, meetings attended, actions taken, contacts made, project status, and future needs arising since last meeting.
