All other items do not have a specific time and will be heard at the discretion of the Board. If you wish to speak on any item that is on the agenda, you must sign in with the Clerk at the meeting.
1* Call to order; Roll call; Invocation; Pledge of Allegiance.
2 Public Comment. (All public comment will be limited to five minutes per individual).
3* For Possible Action: Approve minutes of the March 3, 2014 Regular Board Meeting.
4* For Possible Action: Approve Original and Renewed Business Licenses according to staff recommendations (an itemized list of business licenses is available for public review in the Building Department prior to the meeting).
5* For Possible Action: Approve vouchers (an itemized list of bills is available for public review at the county Auditor’s office prior to the meeting). A report of Cash balances with any concerns will be received from the County Auditor.
6 Officer/Department Head Reports: Update will include meetings attended, actions taken, contacts made, project status, and future needs arising since last meeting.
7 For Possible Action: Request from the Lincoln County High School Music Department for $10,400 to go to a music festival and Disneyland in Anaheim, CA.
8 Board of Highway Commissioners: Under Separate Agenda.
9 Lincoln County Fire District: Under Separate Agenda.
10 Panaca Fire District: Under Separate Agenda.
11* For Possible Action: Request of $5,000 for Pinyon Juniper Partnership restoration activities.
12 Nuclear Oversight Program Update. Update will include, meetings attended, actions taken, contacts made, project status, and future needs arising since last meeting.
13* For Possible Action: Payment to Nevada Association of Counties (NACO) in the amount of $13,612.00 for annual dues
14* For Possible Action: Approve the Southern Nevada Desert Racers (SNDR) Panaca Hare n’ Hound motorcycle race near Panaca scheduled for April 12, 2014
15* For Possible Action: Request from Lincoln County Human Services for funds to help pay for the replacing of the flooring and repair of a wall in the Caliente Senior Center kitchen.
16* For Possible Action: Request for a mobile outdoor theater from the Western Elite Youth Funds. The mobile outdoor theater would be available to all of the communities within Lincoln County.
17* For Possible Action: Signing of a Contract and Notice to Proceed with JNJ Engineering construction, Inc. in the amount of $1,315,503.20 for the Echo Canyon Campground project.
18* For Possible Action: Notice of Intention to Act on a Resolution to augment the Budget for the 2013-2014 District Court Specialty Court in the amount of $29,936 in order to appropriate unbudgeted resources.
19* For Possible Action: Resolution to Transfer Alamo Town Funds between departments for the 2013-2014 fiscal year.
20* For Possible Action: Any And All Action Necessary to Prepare FY2014-2015 Budget.
21 Commissioners Reports: Update will include, meetings attended, actions taken, contacts made, project status, and future needs arising since last meeting.
