All other items do not have a specific time and will be heard at the discretion of the Board. If you wish to speak on any item that is on the agenda, you must sign in with the Clerk at the meeting.
1* Call to order; Roll call; Invocation; Pledge of Allegiance.
2 Public Comment. (All public comment will be limited to five minutes per individual).
3* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny minutes of the July 15, 2013 Regular Meeting.
4* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny Original and Renewed Business Licenses according to staff recommendations (an itemized list of business licenses is available for public review in the Building Department prior to the meeting).
5* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny vouchers (an itemized list of bills is available for public review at the county Auditor’s office prior to the meeting). A report of Cash Balances with any concerns will be received from the County Auditor.
6 Officer/Department Head Reports: Update will include meetings attended, actions taken, contacts made, project status, and future needs arising since last meeting.

10* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action Advance payment of services obtained for the fair, presented by Shantel Holt.
11 Presentation by Susan Haas with the Retired Senior Volunteer Program, about the program.
12* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action regarding approval of the annual request from the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program in the amount of $16,384.00.
13* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action Designs and Costs for the Revision and remodeling of the Commission Chambers.
14* For Possible Action: Presentation by Patrick Kell on Mountain Bike trails around Caliente and the organization of putting the trails into place.
15* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny a letter from the Lincoln County Commission to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) requesting that they look into the issue of a potential health hazard stemming from the BLM camp grounds just above Eagle Valley.
16* For Possible Action: Review and approve, deny, or modify an agreement with the Federal Government for payment of possessory use taxes imposed upon specified private contractors working for the Federal Government within Lincoln County.
17* For Possible Action: Review the status of the collective bargaining agreement between Lincoln County and the Lincoln County Law Enforcement Association and take any action related thereto.
18* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action concerning the invitation to be involved in the Nevada Day Parade on October 26, 2013 in Carson City.
19* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action: Replacing/purchasing a new or used ambulance for transport purposes.
20* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action comment letter to the BLM regarding further National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Analysis and Regional Mitigation Planning for the Dry Lake North Solar Energy Zone.
21* For Possible Action: Discussion/Action letter to Ely BLM requesting submission of Public Utilities Commission of Nevada (PUCN) Order to Dismiss, Docket 11-08028, be submitted to Interior Board of Land Appeal concerning Wilson Creek Wind Project.
22* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny the Nevada Department of Wildlife Heritage Trust Fund Project #14-07 to be administered by Lincoln County.
23* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny Contributed Funds Agreement between Lincoln County and the BLM, Ely District for Heritage Funds Project #14-07.
24* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny the Nevada Department of Wildlife Heritage Trust Fund Project Approval, Project #14-07, in the amount of $15,000 to the Lincoln County Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife for the Patterson Pass Vegetation Project.
25* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny the Silverstate Trailblazers’ AMA National Hair n’ Hound Motorcycle Race scheduled for August 24, 2013 in the Panaca area.
26* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny the Bushwackers M/C Hare Scrambles Motorcycle Race scheduled for September 21, 2013 in the Pioche area.
27* For Possible Action: Comment and formal position regarding the Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the Transwest Express Transmission Line Project proposed through a portion of Lincoln County.
28* For Possible Action: Renew lease with the Nevada Department of Corrections for operation of the Pioche Conservation Camp set to expire this year. The proposed renewal agreement includes a nominal fee, a 20-year term, and the same conditions imposed in the previous agreement.
29* For Possible Action: Establish a job Classification and Wage scale for the Paralegal Position in the District Attorney’s Office.
30* For Possible Action: Ratifying changes to Chapter One of the Personnel Policy and Discussion of Chapter 2, 2.0 thru 2.7.
31 Commissioners Reports: Update will include, meetings attended, actions taken, contacts made, project status, and future needs arising since last meeting.
