2 Public Comment
3* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny vouchers for transportation related items (an itemized list of bills is available for public review at the County Auditor’s office prior to the meeting).
4* For Possible Action: Approve/Deny the minutes of the June 3, 2013 and June 17, 2013 Regular Meetings.
5 Road Supervisors Report: Update will include meetings attended, actions taken, contacts made, project status, and future needs arising since last meeting and may include Projects worked on for month of June, Completed Projects for month of June, Maintenance projects for month of June, Priority list for July, and any Future projects.
6 Acceptance of the Retirement of Steve Chouquer, John Allen and John Marich.
7* For Possible Action: The Highway Commission will discuss and adopt a procedure to appoint a new County road supervisor pursuant to NRS 403.110; this may include: whether to promote internally or accept external applications, the term of office, the amount of performance bond required pursuant to NRS 403.120, and the salary or salary range that the Board will offer to applicants.
8* For Possible Action: The Highway Commission will discuss whether it will hire an operator or laborer for the road department; action may include authorizing the road department to advertise for the position; and terms of employment would be governed by the Teamsters Local 14 Road Workers Collective Bargaining Agreement.
9* For Possible Action: The Highway Commission will discuss whether it will hire a secretary for the road department; action may include authorizing the road department to advertise for the position; and terms of employment would be governed by the Teamsters Local 14 Road Workers Collective Bargaining Agreement.
