#1-CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Chairman Tommy Rowe called the meeting to order at 10:02.

There is a quorum and the agenda was posted on 3-1-11 to comply with the open meeting law.
#2-MINUTES
Paul D. made a motion to approve the minutes of February 22, 2011; seconded by Ed. All voted in favor.
#3-FIRE CHIEF UPDATE
Rick advised that he attended new car technology education training this last weekend. Rick, DA Hooge, and Deputy DA Liedlich have scheduled a meeting tonight with Eagle Valley (EV) residents to discuss their wishes as far as becoming involved with LCFD. There are some questions/concerns about the land and building located in EV.
#4-VOUCHERS
There are no vouchers for approval.
#5-FIRE CHIEF TRAVEL
Rick is requesting permission for him and another person to travel to Tyler, TX, to pick up the water tender. $460 is the approximate cost, per person, for airfare. If the company delivers it, it will cost about $2,400 and Rick will have to take the individual back to Las Vegas to fly back. Larry Stever is willing to go. Paul D. made a motion to approve the travel of Rick and Larry Stever to travel to Tyler, TX to pick up the water tender; seconded by Ed. All voted in favor.
#6-PUBLIC COMMENT
Tommy called for public comment. Paul D. asked if this meeting is organized to be on the agenda twice a month or can it be done once a month. Rick responded that he’s requested to hold this meeting twice a month to avoid late fees on bills.

There being no further business for the Board to attend, Tommy adjourns the meeting at 10:12.
