#1-CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Chairman Tommy Rowe called the meeting to order at 10:32.

There is a quorum and the agenda was posted on 7-11-11 to comply with the open meeting law.
#2-MINUTES
Paul D. made a motion to approve the minutes of July 5, 2011; seconded by Ed. All voted in favor.
#3-FIRE CHIEF UPDATE
Rick reported that the fire district has responded to several incidents in the last few weeks, including a large truck spill that involved a petroleum byproduct. There was a fire issue at Narcanon; Rick will work with the Sheriff’s office concerning investigation. If this fire was a criminal act, it could be prosecuted and the cost for extinguishing it would be included.

There are no bills for payment.
#5-NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP
Rick advised that he doesn’t believe he will be able to accept the offer presented as the deadline has passed. No action is taken.

Tommy called for public comment. None offered.
#7-ADJOURN
There being no further business for the Board to attend, Tommy adjourned the meeting at 10:36.
