#1-CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
The Board met with Chairman Paul Mathews calling the meeting to order at 10:10. Clerk Lisa Lloyd called the roll with Trustees Tommy Rowe, Ronda Hornbeck, Paul Mathews, Ed Higbee and Bill Lloyd being present. There is a quorum and the agenda was posted on 5-11-10 to comply with the open meeting law. Fire Chief Kerry Lee is present.
Ronda made a motion to approve the 4-19-10 minutes; seconded by Bill. All voted in favor.
Kerry reported the EMT course will test June 9-10. Red Card Refresher and Pack Tests have been held. The truck has been painted and returned for $1,000; it just needs to be striped.
Ronda made a motion to approve the vouchers; seconded by Ed. All voted in favor.
#5-LINCOLN COUNTY PERSONNEL POLICY
There is some discussion about whether or not this policy should be adopted for the PFD. Paul feels that consistency is needed for retirement/wages. Ronda said if there are sections of this policy that are not applicable, they will just not be used. Probation period is the only place that we’ve had a conflict. Technically, a volunteer is an employee of the County and they need to abide by the policy. Ronda made a motion to adopt the Lincoln County Personnel Policy; seconded by Bill. All voted in favor.
Paul called for public comment. None is offered.
There being no further business for the Board to attend to, Bill made a motion to adjourn at 10:23; seconded by Ed. All voted in favor.
