#1-CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
The Board met in regular session with Chairman Paul Mathews calling the meeting to order at 10:34. Clerk Lisa Lloyd called the roll with Trustees Ronda Hornbeck, Paul Mathews, Ed Higbee and Bill Lloyd being present. Trustee Tommy Rowe is absent. There is a quorum and the agenda was posted on 5-11-10 to comply with the open meeting law. Assistant Fire Chief Harry Birkmier and Fire Chief Kerry Lee are present.
#2-FISCAL YEAR 2010-2011 BUDGET
Dan McArthur presented the budget. Salaries and benefits have been left in the budget, but if the money doesn’t arrive from BLM the position will not be filled. This will leave Services/Supplies with $34,000. Money will be coming in from the General Fund in the amount of f$2,000. Total ending fund balance is $4,655. Kerry Lee advised that the secretary position is voluntary right now; no salary is being paid. Kerry questioned the Emergency Fund, which has nearly $20,000, and asked if we are putting more into this fund than is required. There is no required amount that must be put in, but you can’t exceed $250,000. Once the money is put in this fund it’s locked up and can’t be spent on anything but emergencies. $2,000 is budgeted to go into the Emergency Fund for this year. Ronda made a motion to approve FY 2010-2011 budget; seconded by Bill. All voted in favor.

Paul called for public comment. None is offered.
There being no further business for the Board to attend to Paul adjourned the meeting at 10:42.
