#1-CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Chairman Tommy Rowe called the meeting to order at 10:51 a.m.

There is a quorum and the agenda was posted on 8-9-11 to comply with the open meeting law.
Kevin made a motion to approve the minutes of July 18; seconded by Ed. All voted in favor.
Kerry advised that BLM funds have started coming in from the fires in NM and AZ. Kannarraville picked up two pieces of the equipment that was approved for donation; there is one more piece that they will come get.
Paul M. made a motion to approve the vouchers as presented with the exception of Mountain Mercantile; seconded by Ed. All voted in favor. Ed made a motion to approve the Mountain Mercantile vouchers; seconded by Paul M. Kevin abstains and disclosed that he is part owner of Mountain Mercantile. Motion carries.
#6- PUBLIC COMMENT
Tommy called for public comment. Paul M. stated that PFD responds when there is an accident. Do they respond as first responders and then step back when EMTs arrive? Yes. PFD usually arrives before the ambulance, and there has been a complaint about who is in charge. It is a shared responsibility, depending upon the situation. Kerry feels the relationship between the PFD and ambulance is great. Paul M. stated that it is good to have the man power there to lift the gurney as some of the EMTs we have may not be physically able to lift them. There are very few EMTs and many times PFD has had to drive the ambulance as there is only one EMT present.
There being no further business for the Board to attend to, Tommy adjourns the meeting at 11:00 a.m.
