PUBLIC MEETING

Agenda for March 12, 2015
6:30 P.M.
Lincoln County Court House
Pioche, Nevada

1. Roll Call, Open Meeting Law:

2. *Minutes approval or denial/corrections from February 12th, 2015.

3. Public Comment: No action will be taken on any items discussed in public and board comment, but items may be placed on a future agenda for action. All public comment will be limited to 5 minutes per individual.

4. *For Discussion/Possible Action: Reversion to Acreage Map Application for Richard J. Moser to combine APN #’s 005-251-21 4 and 005-251-22. The parcels are located approximately 12 miles north on US 93 outside of the town of Pioche on the Malloy Springs Road. The current zoning on the parcels are A2.

5. *For Discussion/Possible Action: Pete and Beverly Peterson have requested a Special Use Permit on APN – 012-170-02. The proposed use is located approximately one mile west of Panaca at Cathedral Gorge Inn. The proposed use is to provide two RV hookups in conjunction with the onsite residential use and vacation home rental. The zoning on the subject parcel is Commercial.

6. *For Discussion/Possible Action: Proposed amendments regarding energy development to the Lincoln County Master Plan and the Lincoln County Public Lands Policy Plan. The amendments are pursuant to NRS 278.150-170 and include designation of aboveground utility corridors, policy updates on energy development and other matters related thereto.

7. *For Discussion/Possible Action: Comments for the proposed wide-load truck detour for travel on I-15 within the Virgin River Gorge in Arizona during a series of bridge and roadway reconstruction projects. The detour would follow US 93 and SR 319.

8. *For Discussion/Possible Action: Proposed Development Agreement Amendment for C & O Holdings, LLC in the Toquop Planning Area of south eastern Lincoln County and adjacent to the City of Mesquite. The amendment includes a planned subdivision on approximately 100 acres within the current designated Planned Unit Development. The subject parcels are zoned for Planned Unit Development. The purpose of the amendment is to allow for incremental development and ensure consistency of the current development agreement in the Toquop Planning Area with the Lincoln County Master Plan and the Lincoln County Code.

9. Department Update: May include but not limited to: meetings attended, actions taken, contacts made, project status, future needs arising since last meeting and other relevant information for the Commission.

10. Public Comment: No action will be taken on any items discussed in public and board comment, but items may be placed on a future agenda for action, all public comment will be limited to 5 minutes per individual.
